NEXT TO Valtavaara Nature Preserve
The Valtavaara Chalets apartments are being constructed near the Valtavaara Nature Preserve, the Karhunkierros Trail, and the Ruka slopes. They offer stunning views, stylish interiors, and details designed with skiers and outdoor enthusiasts in mind.
The site features two types of apartments: 9 Ski-Inn model Valtavaara 100 units and 3 Valtavaara Unique 130 units. As the name suggests, the Unique units can be furnished and equipped as desired and can be kept entirely for personal use if preferred. All apartments are bright corner units with direct views of either the mountain peak or Valtavaara.
Large windows facing two directions ensure light and views all year round. The apartments are located on floors 2, 3, and 4. The ground floor of the chalet includes a very spacious ski room and maintenance area.
The ground floor commercial spaces will host various program and experience services from Saarua village and possibly a café or restaurant.
SCHEDULE: The plans for Valtavaara Chalet are currently being updated, and pre-marketing is expected to start later this spring. Construction will begin no earlier than winter 2026, with the chalet expected to be completed by fall 2027.
Ski-Inn Valtavaara 100
Each apartment is surrounded by a large sun terrace, with direct access to the outdoor hot tub from the scenic sauna. On the glazed 15m2 terrace, you can enjoy the views by the fireplace and dining table or while lounging on the sofa. In each floor, two apartments can also be combined during your stay to create one very large apartment unit.
Valtavaara Unique 130
These are the most luxurious apartments in the village of Saarua, offering ample space for socializing. Vacationing in the national landscape doesn't get any better than this.
A 63m terrace wraps around the entire corner apartment, providing stunning views of the fells. You can access the outdoor hot tub directly from the warmth of the scenic sauna. You have the option to influence the design solutions of the Unique apartments, and they can also be sold without furniture and equipment.
The Uniques are located in what many consider the best corner of the Chalet, with views opening towards both the peak of Ruka and the direction of Pessari.
