Ski-inn Parkside, right next to RukaPark
The compact and functional 25 m² apartments of Parkside are being built right at the base of what many consider the world's best park, RukaPark. The apartments come with a full kitchen and are well-equipped to accommodate up to 4 skiers, with Parkside aiming to offer the most affordable Ski-In Ski-Out beds on the mountain. The apartments do not have saunas, as four lakeside saunas will be constructed in front of Parkside by the shore of Saarua Lake in the summer of 2026, available for Parkside residents to rent from the lakeside café. Additionally, Base's new sauna restaurant at the top of Saarua will serve Parkside guests.
SCHEDULE: Rukakeskus Oy will begin constructing 24 apartments in the summer of 2025. Thanks to the modular structure, construction will be swift, with the goal of holding the opening ceremony within the same year. The apartments will be sold according to the Ski-Inn model only after completion, as the rapid timeline means Parkside will not be implemented as an RS project.
The illustrations of Parkside are nearly identical to the Pyhä Camp Edmund project, which is currently in pre-marketing.
